Don Bosco Fambul was open in January 1998 in a small building in Freetown. Don Bosco Fambul aims to address the needs of the children (in particular, boys) living on the street and youth at risk; to provide for them education, shelter, healthcare, food, clothes and prepare them for re-admittance into mainstream of society as fully functioning, responsible members.
Don Bosco Fambul helps vulnerable children to get over their difficulties of marginalization and danger, and to become capable of facing their future in a better way. Through the dedication and commitment of the Don Bosco Fambul staff, nearly 95% of our boys are able to be reunified with their families and others reintegrated into society yearly.
